Companion sitting services in Georgia provide non-medical supervision and meaningful companionship for individuals who need extra support and safety at home. This service focuses on enhancing quality of life through conversation, engagement activities, light reminders, and a reassuring presence to reduce loneliness and ensure well-being. Companion sitting does not include personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, or any skilled nursing or medical services. It is designed to offer families peace of mind knowing their loved one is safe, socially engaged, and attentively monitored in a comfortable home environment.
Providing general supervision of the client
Ensuring the client’s safety and well-being
Observing and reporting changes in condition or behavior
Preventing wandering or unsafe activities (especially for seniors with cognitive decline)
Friendly conversation and emotional support
Providing a reassuring presence in the home
Reducing loneliness, isolation, and anxiety
Engaging in social interaction and mental stimulation
Reading aloud or assisting with reading
Playing cards, board games, or puzzles
Watching television or listening to music together
Encouraging light hobbies (knitting, crafts, etc.)
Light tidying of common areas used by the client (non-skilled)
